Thanksgiving Swap: Alan

After a long, silent drive home with his family from his aunt’s thanksgiving dinner, Alan (43) was finally beginning to take stock of the new family dynamic the Great Shift had left him with. In a matter of moments, his entire extended family had been swapped across the dinner table, landing Alan in his niece Sophie’s teenage body while his wife maintained her spot right next to him, this time in the tall, lanky body of Sophie’s new boyfriend. It wasn’t until they managed to calm down and do a post-shift headcount, however, that the gravity of the situation finally began settling in. The first bombshell came when he discovered his 16 year old son had been placed in the body of Sarah, Alan’s 40 year old sister. The second, when they found his 12 year old daughter, now stuck in the 20 year old male body of her cousin.

Now, mesmerized by his niece’s reflection looking back at him in the mirror in his first moments alone with his new body, Alan was coming to the uncomfortable realization that  biologically, he was now a daughter to his own teenage son, a younger cousin to his daughter, and the college-age girlfriend of his wife of nearly 20 years!

“Everything ok, babe?”

Alan turned to his wife’s familiar words coming out of her now very unfamiliar body as he caught a glimpse of her pulling her shirt over her head to follow his lead and check out her new, male body in the mirror.

He laughed awkwardly, the noise coming out higher pitched than he’d intended in his new mouth. “Yeah, just… Taking it in, I guess. I never realized Sophie was so… developed.”

“Tell me about it,” She responded, poking at her newfound abs. “I still haven’t checked out my new equipment, it feels weird even saying it but i think I’d be a little disappointed if i unzip my pants just to be small down there…”

Both options ran through Alan’s mind as the reality of what keeping up him and his wife’s sex life post-shift would actually entail began to set in. He’d be the one on the receiving end of whatever she was now hiding in her pants, although a growing sensation in the pit of his stomach seemed to indicate that it wasn’t entirely opposed to the idea…
