Probably avoidable

“Ok, relax, we can meet up again after you get off work today but it’s not like we’re gonna find anything new! That storm that swapped our bodies was days ago, so if you have any idea how to make it happen again i’m all ears - And yes, actually, i’ve been completely respectful of your body, and your rules. I’ve literally just been watching tv all day waiting for you to get back. You think i want to be stuck as you any longer than i have to?”

Ken smiled as Arielle finally hung up the phone, lazily laying back in bed.

“Thank god, i thought she’d never get off the phone. Now… Where was I?”

He couldn’t blame her though. Maybe it wasn’t the most ethical thing in the world, but he had practically gone down her post-swap dos and don’ts like a checklist

Do: Act like me if you have to talk with anyone.

Check. He had a few slip ups at first, but as the days passed he was actually starting to get the hang of pretending to be her. Thankfully, Arielle worked from home and had made up an excuse not to see her friends for the next few days so the only interactions he had was with whatever neighbors he saw going in and out the house.

Don’t: Spend more than a few minutes in the shower. Wash essentials ONLY

This one was almost instantly dead in the water. As Arielle, his morning shower had quickly changed from a necessary chore to the highlight of his day. He was sure she’d realize it whenever the water bill came due, but he just couldn’t help it. Once he began starting his mornings off with a good orgasm, it wasn’t like he could just go back to how he used to do it, right?

Don’t: Go through my closet.

He had tried on practically everything she owned at this point, from the matching workout sets and flirty tank tops up front to the formal dresses he had found shoved all the way in the back, modeling them in front of the full-length mirror in her bedroom. It was almost like a new hobby, imagining the context he’d wear each fit out to if he was her.

Don’t: Talk with my friends or anyone i know, ESPECIALLY my neighbors.

Okay, this one hadn’t even been intentional. Was it Ken’s fault the cute guy a few doors down had knocked on his door to give Arielle some mail that had been delivered to him on accident? No. Was it his fault all he had been wearing was a sports bra and a tennis skirt? Maybe, but to be fair he had been going through her closet and trying to imagine what he’d wear if he ever went to the gym in her body at the time. Now was he wrong for leading him back to Arielle’s bedroom and letting him fuck his brains out on her bed? Probably, but in his defense the guy was totally initiating it. He was just acting in character like Arielle had told him to and flirted back. He would take responsibility for inviting him back and doing it again on the couch, though. And in the shower. And in the kitchen. That had been all him, and in retrospect was probably pretty avoidable.
