“Knock knock, coworker!”

Adam leaned against the doorway flirtily, grinning as he saw Ashley look up from her desk, returning the smile. “Wanna get lunch? I got some post-shift gossip for you! Apparently someone spotted Jess-Sorry, *James* in Accounting out on a date on saturday with that manager that ended up in his secretary’s body!


Adam almost didn’t want to admit it, but secretly, at least a small part of him was a little thrilled that the Great Shift had landed him in the body of his coworker Ashley while she had ended up in his. They had been almost inseparable ever since she started working at his office last year. Of course, he could never admit it to his girlfriend but he had developed a killer crush on her in the meantime, to the point where he looked forward to going into the office every morning just so he could see her more. 


Well, now he’d be seeing a lot more of her. At the office, at home, in the shower, every time he looked in the mirror… 


His relationship hadn’t lasted long post-Shift. It was impossible keeping anything going with his girlfriend now in the body of one of her 14 year old students, but he still looked forward to work in the mornings, although for a very different reason now - Apparently Ashley’s body was just as attracted to him as he was to her, and as weird as it felt, they had picked up their flirtation right where they had left off, only with Adam now playing the part of the work wife to Ashley in his old body!
