Upgraded by the Great Shift
Jack had no illusions about how he looked before the Great Shift. Being pudgy, a little frog-faced, and shorter than the average woman, he hadn’t exactly won the genetic lottery. Most men shifted into women post- Great Shift had to deal with the sudden loss of height, strength, and stature that becoming a member of the fairer sex entailed. The opposite experience couldn’t have been truer for Jack.
He had been at the gym when it happened, an on again, off again routine that usually involved him gaining and losing the same five pounds over and over again as he half assed some workout he saw on TV one time.
In an instant, his mind had been catapulted into the body of Savannah, a student athlete from the college down the street as she was cooling down from the final few sets of her training program.
The first experience Jack felt coursing through his newfound body moments after the Great Shift had been exhaustion. Worse than he’d ever felt before. Then, the weight of long, shoulder length hair draping across the nape of his neck. The rising and falling of the tightly contained breasts he now felt pushing against the sports bra on his chest. The tight compression of the leggings now pulled taut against his thighs, his butt, the impossibly flat front that only highlighted his newfound lack of masculine equipment.
And finally, a flood of strength through his body that came with every movement of her lithe, athletic frame. Catching his breath, Jack looked up at the mirror lined walls of the gym in shock: Not only was he now looking back at a woman’s body, it was one that was taller, stronger, and significantly more attractive than his old self had ever been.
