All the perks with none of the work!
To tell the truth, being diagnosed with Second Puberty probably saved my life. Years of grinding to get into a top college, finance internships, 12 hour days working at investment banking, I was in my mid 20s and was already burned out, not to mention the fact that I had nearly given myself an ulcer from the stress… In fact, I think the leave i took from work to deal with my diagnosis was the first break longer than two weeks I’d had since middle school!
Well, two weeks off turned into a month, and then after a while, I sort of… never came back! I guess my priorities shifted somewhere between my breasts growing from a B cup to a D, but just the thought of going back to the office just made me feel nauseous. Luckily I had a good amount of money saved up so finances weren’t an issue, and with all the new free time on my hands, I guess you could say i got a little carried away diving into some new “feminine” hobbies to compensate! Suddenly I was shopping for clothes, practicing how to do makeup, taking yoga classes to learn how to move my body again, after a couple months I was starting to turn into a real girl’s girl!
Well, long story short, I, uh, discovered pretty early on into my transition that my sexual orientation wasn’t exactly as rigid as it used to be after a couple drunken hookups with one of my buddies from work i still hung out with. One thing led to another, and well, I don’t think i’m going back to work anytime soon. Turns out, marrying someone in finance gets you all the perks of the job with none of the work!
