Long Distance Great Shift 1: Canada to Tahiti

The first thing Will noticed after the Great Shift was the heat. Well, that and the feeling of fabric riding up his ass, but mostly the heat. Just moments ago he had been scraping ice off of his car in the middle of an especially harsh Canadian winter day, but as he squinted at the bright daylight that hadn’t been there a second ago, all he felt was a deep warmth spreading through his body. For a second he had thought he had died and gone to some sort of heaven, but as he opened his eyes and brushed a curtain of long black hair away from his face, the truth was starting to seem even more confusing. He was on a beach. And as he slowly propped himself up onto his arms, his situation was becoming more and more unreal. Looking down at his body, he was shocked to see a tanned, thin, and extremely feminine frame where he should have seen his own. Tentatively, he reached for the girlishly floral phone lying in the blanket in front of him and opened up the camera. He stared at the girl in the screen’s reflection for a few moments before his eyes drifted town to the deep, bikini-wrapped cleavage right under it. As the gasps of other beach-goers snapped him out of his trance, Will looked up at his surroundings. Clearly he wasn’t the only one affected, but as he would soon find out, while most of the other beachgoers had been swapped amongst themselves, he was nearly 10,000 kilometers away from where he started, in the body of a 20 year old Tahitian woman.
